Managed by our subsidiary networking company, our broad range of connectivity solutions range from the provision of IP transit (dedicated bandwidth), through to Layer 2 Ethernet connections, LAN extensions and dedicated leased lines for connecting your business directly to the Internet.

IP transit (dedicated bandwidth)

We can meet IP transit requirements ranging from 1Mbit/sec to 1Gbit/sec, either simply for high speed dedicated transfer to the Internet, or for inter-datacentre traffic between the main hubs at Telecity (Manchester) and Telehouse (London) and various datacentres connected to these.

Layer 2 Ethernet (single line, unprotected, or fully protected)

If you have a requirement for a primary or secondary line to create a redundant network, we can deliver Layer 2 Ethernet solutions between Manchester and London in 10MBit, 100MBit or 1GBit capacity options.

LAN extensions

Designed to meet your requirement, we can deploy LAN extensions to assist with a range of strategies, including:

• Disaster recovery: full replication of your live systems
• Remote backups: reduce risk by backing up your critical data to a geographically remote location
• Datacentre extension: a simple way to introduce scalability and overcome space, power or network limitations at your existing datacentre facility

Leased lines

Leased line connectivity can be provided for most businesses in the UK. The solutions that we provide range in scope from straight-forward Internet connectivity, through to resilient multi-site Virtual Private Networks:

• Direct connectivity: scalable, dedicated leased lines ranging from 2Mbits/sec to 1Gibit/sec capacity to connect your location directly to the Internet
• Point to point private networks: ethernet connections presented at each end, with Juniper routers at each end to form a private network between two locations.
• High availability VPNs: by creating redundant rings between two or more locations, we can architect a fully managed, highly reslilient and secure VPN for your corporate network
